Detailed description

  The King’s Gift cabin is privately situated and has magnificent views over the forested Knysna River Valley. This secluded getaway is ideal for those who want to enjoy nature, while not sacrificing the luxuries that will make for a truly unforgettable holiday experience. This cabin has 2 bedrooms, as well as a loft bedroom, and can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and there is also a guest bathroom with extra shower. The main bedroom, known as the ‘Lavender Room’, has a private entrance onto the outside deck, and spectacular views of the valley. The west wing bedroom has an en-suite with shower, and two single beds that can be joined if necessary. An additional two single beds in the loft, which can be separated from the lounge area by curtains, are ideal for the kids. Fresh linen and towels are supplied and a cleaning service is available on request.

The open-plan lounge and dining area is tastefully decorated, equipped with satellite television, DVD and CD player, and leads onto the deck and outside dining area. Enjoy a bottle of the best South African red wine around the log fire or cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen. Tea, coffee and sugar are also provided.

The braai/barbeque area is situated near the sparkling swimming pool under a canopy of pine trees. Nearby, a wooden deck extends over the side of the valley and offers a magnificent venue for sundowners, but it is not for the faint hearted as it is quite a drop to the valley below! Double under cover parking is provided.
