The house also has a bar with TV where we screen all major sporting events, a swimming pool with outdoor Jacuzzi and spacious outdoor entertainment area where guests can savour the beautiful South African climate.

Stellenbosch is the undisputed heart of the Cape Winelands district, one of the world’s foremost wine-producing regions. Blessed with a perfect combination of soil, climate, terrain and proximity to the cool Atlantic Ocean, our wines easily hold their own against the best the world has to offer.

It is no wonder that Cape wines annually garner a solid crop of local and international awards and are spoken of quite highly by the wine cognoscenti. Within easy walking distance from House of House lie the Stellenbosch Botanical Garden – an old and beautifully landscaped horticultural preserve – and the Jan S.

Marais Park – a Cape Fynbos preserve. For the more adventurous – and fitter – traveller, there is Jonkershoek Nature Reserve and Helderberg Nature Reserve, both ideally suited for excursions ranging from picnic outings to serious four-day hikes, as well as offering a variety of mountain-biking and climbing routes.
