Palms Wilderness - Wilderness luxury accommodation, Garden Route, Wilderness ,Karoo retreat, Guesthouse
Palms Wilderness

Detailed description
Palms Wilderness is owner managed and we pride ourselves in our personalized service and facilities. We have created this retreat, not only to offer visitors a central base to explore the Garden Route and Karoo, but to offer the discerning traveler a place to unwind, get in touch with nature and totally relax!
Our beautiful thatched house was one of the first houses built in Wilderness by Owen Grant. This old Cape Dutch house was eventually re-designed and built into a guest house with huge 120 year old Milkwood trees on the property. We have created a lush haven of indigenous and tropical plants with several seating areas in the gardens. Fish ponds, water features and fountains all contribute to creating this little paradise within the quant village of Wilderness, on the Garden Route.
Guests can laze around the pool, relax in a quiet spot in the gardens and view our feathered friends, who enjoy our gardens as much as the visitors do. Several species visit the bird feeders & bird baths. Watch the very shy Knysna Turaco bounce around in the Milkwoods, Sunbirds savoring the nectar of the vast variety of flowers in the gardens, weavers and wagtails build nests and common waxbills chatter around the seed bowls.
Take a leisurely stroll along our whiter than white beaches or for the more active a hike into the indigenous forests.
