Summer House B&B is centrally located, right on the  beachfront in one of Port-Elizabeth’s most prestigious areas, the quiet, leafy and up-market Summerstrand.  Summer House was established as a B&B in 1995 after the main house was built the previous year.  Summer House, only a 5 minute drive from Port-Elizabeth airport, boasts luxurious and spacious accommodation for business travellers, tourists and families vacationing in Port-Elizabeth, at exceptionally affordable rates.

Port-Elizabeth’s beachfront is renowned for its spectacular swimming beaches and is a much loved and often utilised venue for national and international water sports events.  Guests have the benefit of attractive ocean views from our front gate.  For those guests wishing to relax and enjoy all that Port-Elizabeth has to offer, swimming at Humewood Beach, which holds international Blue Flag status, as well as the dazzling Hobie Beach, is a leisurely 5 minute walk away.

We are situated close to the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and for avid rugby fans, Telkom Park Rugby stadium is only a stone’s throw away.  As an added bonus, keen golfers will be pleased to know that the oldest links golf course in South Africa, Humewood Gold Club, is less than a 5 minute drive away.
