A morning at Tamboti Bush Lodge starts with music - the sounds of hundreds of birds welcoming you to the bushveld. And then the day just gets better. Have an amazing breakfast in the restaurant open to the sounds and sights of the bush. Do not be surprised if a jackal or an impala pops up in front of you Laze around the pool or go for a walk or cycle through the bush on a mountain bike.Tamboti Bush Lodge is in the centre of the Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve that is due to open in the first quarter of 2008 in which case a much larger variety of animals including lions, elephants, rhino, buffalo, leopard, giraffe, eland, kudu, wildebeest, zebra etc etc. will be found here. The bar is always open and meals are always available in the a la carte restaurant or experience a picnic in the stillness of the African bushveld and accompanied only by the local wild animals.

Take a game drive with a difference. Do the game drive and nature trail on a quad bike and get really close up to the local animals or take a stroll through the bush and do some birdwatching. We have a list of 162 birds already spotted at the lodge. Do some tree spotting, many of the trees are already marked and you can identify over 80 indigenous trees around the lodge and in the veld.
