Thatchwood is situated at the entrance to St Francis Bay. The lodge overlooks the 6th fairway of the st Francis golf course and is set at the entrance to the new Jack Nicklaus signature Links Course.  Thatchwood has a relaxed home-from-home atmosphere. The beautiful decorated bedrooms offer many comforts including television and telephone and most lead to a private garden or patio. 

Stroll down the fairways to the unspoilt beached and watch the dolphins and whales. On warm summer days the pool side beckons and the cozy lounge invites friendly conversations around the fireplace in winter. The lodge is fully licensed and guests are invited to help themselves at the honesty bar.

Superb buffer breakfasts are served in the enclosed patio, surrounded by the indigenous garden and prolific birdlife. The nearby golf course stretches to the sea, providing a tranquil, extended garden to the lodge.
