Quad Trail – "For those that are a Bit on the Wild Side"

Our exhilarating Quad Safari through the African bushveld, you will definitely see game along the way on the various trails, which is situated on 1100 hectares of pristine African bushveld. You will also stop along the way for a quick picnic break along with a beverage of your choice. Quad Safaris is one of our most popular activities, so please join us. Safari Cart Trail

To enjoy a quieter, intimate and personalized game drive experience, book yourself a silent safari which is coupled with a bottle of fine sparkling wine to top off the drive. The safari allows you approach the bushveld in an eco-friendly automobile in which you are able to hear different communication vocalizations of various game and birds. Game Drives

Are you a nature lover or a bird watcher? Then don’t miss out on our 2 hour game drive on 1600 hectares of pristine bushveld, boasting 12 different species of antelope, 100s of bird species and various other mammals and carnivores. And if you are looking for the more destructive of South African animals, then our 3 hour drive on the Big 5 Mabalingwe reserve is for you. With mind-blowing sightings of both rhino and elephant that will leave you breathless. Sundowner drinks and snacks are included. Game Walk

Take full advantage of your time in the bush by walking the African soil where you are given the opportunity to use your senses in understanding what role each component of the environment has to play. Walking is not a game even though game will be seen, so be prepared to have a hands on experience offered by a qualified ranger when finding animals tracks, useful plants, bird calls and animal droppings. Clay Target

Pull! This is definitely not for the faint hearted!! Try your luck with clay target shooting and see if you can handle a 12 gauge shotgun. We provide you with 25 rounds per person, a shotgun and provide basic shotgun training. Minimum of 4 people. No under 18s. Price: R350 (Pricing subject to change)

Paintball

Having a family dispute? Or just feel like having a bit of fun, then paintball is the answer for you... Its also great for team building. Zebula can accommodate up to 20 players at a time but have a minimum of 4. We provide you with a marker, 100 rounds, mask and an overall and a tactical field that is sure to get your heart pumping!  Archery

Have you got your eye in? Its not as easy as it looks in the movies, but put your skills to the test. No volunteers are needed to balance apples on their heads...
You will be supplied with a target all the bows and arrows and guidance is offered by a qualified ranger. Price: Adults R90 Kids R45. Minimum of 4 people. (Pricing subject to change)

Volleyball

You don’t need to be a professional to play this - you just need a little bit of hand eye co-ordination. Zebula has a standard sized court and net, soft beach sand as well as protective padding on the poles - just incase you leap for the ball. Perfect for the family, friends as well as Teambuilding. Specialist Activities:

Equestrian Centre

Experience a relaxing horseback safari on a private and exclusive 280 hectares of African bushveld. You will definitely experience game viewing like never before as the game will allow you to get up close and personal on horseback. Our stables are situated across from our main gate where the trail snakes through panoramic and undisturbed bush. Privacy and exclusivity is the name of the game, as it’s away from the hustle and bustle of the Zebula Golf Estate. We currently have 12 horses and can accommodate experienced riders, first timers and kids over the age of 10. The 2 hour guided trail, adults / R200, kids / R150. 3 hours includes a light lunch, drinks and a bit of fishing along the way from a very scenic elevated deck, which is actually over the water of one of our dams. Fishing includes large mouth bass and tilapia. Adults / R300, kids / R225. (must be a minimum of 4 people) (prices subject to change)

New feature – you can now bring your own horse up to Zebula. We offer overnight boarding at a very reasonable price and unlimited use of our Zebula trail during your stay. We have two fully trained grooms that ensure that your horse receives the best possible care and they will prep and un-prep as required during your stay. Please call for the terms and conditions as well as any other specific questions or requests you might have and ask to talk to one of the head rangers.

Mountain Bikes

For those who want a bit of exercise and adventurous rides through the Africa bushveld, this is the activity for you. Our various trails are teeming with game in which you will be able to get up close and personal. This is great fun for the entire family as we do have a range of different size bikes from kiddies to adults. You can certainly choose your own pace along the various routes and we have several different picnic spots where you can stop along the way and relax. We are also in the process of building the first ever Burry Stander signature mountain bike course on 280 hectares of private and exclusive bushveld which is teeming with game. There will be routes for the beginners and intermediates as well as for the experts, with a few exciting twists along the way. There’s also a spot where you can stop and have a picnic as well as do some fishing along the route as you desire.

Fishing

It was this big, I’m telling you!!! Haven’t we all heard that one before? Well at Zebula that is definitely true of our well stocked fishing dams. Fun for the whole family including gramps. See who can catch the most species or just the biggest fish. Reel in that big one or try again after he got loose. Whatever your fishing requirements, we have a dam to meet your needs. From the fairly easy tilapia, sneaky catfish and ever elusive large mouth bass, this is certainly fun in the sun for two hours. Price: Adults R250 and Kids R125.
