Event description:
The Joburg Art Fair is the only art fair on the African continent and the only art fair to focus on work from Africa and the Global South. It is now in its third year and has become the place to buy, sell and view contemporary art from Africa.
Locally, the event has gained much momentum over the last two years and internationally it is the largest platform on the continent for meeting with artists, curators, galleries and buyers. We have chosen 21 galleries to partake and have curated 13 Special Projects to fill the 5000 square meter space at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
