The events will include guided tours of the kiwifruit orchards where visitors can see the fruit being picked from the vines.

 

There will also be tours of the pack houses and visitors will be able to see how the local Grappa is produced and to taste freshly picked kiwifruit.

 

Besides loads of kiwifruit for sale there will be a variety of different kiwifruit products, such as pies, pickles, preserves and even ice cream. There also will be a wide selection of speciality foods such as organic cheeses, wild mushrooms, trout, fresh produce, jams and preserves on sale.

 

Other events include a bass fishing competition, adventure sports, paddle boat cruises on Ebenezer dam, hiking, tours of the organic cheese farm, horse riding and a chance to explore the fascinating history of the area, birding and chance to enjoy the autumn colours at Cheerio Garde
