Event description:

For 2010 the McGregor Food and Wine Festival plans to build on the last year’s event which attracted over 700 people to McGregor to sample the valleys wines and experience the very best culinary produce that the town’s restaurants and eateries can provide. For the Festival the whole village comes out to play and shows off its talent for making wine. The locals also provide food to tempt the taste buds.

One of the highlights of this Festival is the special offers that the local wineries make for this one day only event. Some of the cellars discount their wines by 25% and some offer to the public for the first time this years recently bottled gems. Local wines on offer include McGregor, Lords, Kingsriver, Tanagra, Buffalo Creek, Koningsrivier, Wolfdoring, Buitenhof and Wonderfontein with a few of the smaller boutique cellars from Robertson such Wolfkloof and Wederom.
