Started as a fundraising project the the PTA of Laerskool Outeniqua Primary School in George, the Vodashop George Cheese Festival now offers a variety of different events.

 

In addition to funds raised for the local primary school, a percentage of the profits of each of the events is donated to a charity of the sponsor’s choice.

 

In 2008, a total of R56 800 was handed out at a special event to 11 different charities in the region.
